Charity Boxing

In February 2007 Airborne Forces Charities, one of our staunchest supporters, hosted a boxing match at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London in aid of the appeal.
This was a huge success and attracted a large number of new supporters.
With The Parachute Regiment in the red corner and 13 Air Assault Support Regiment RLC in the blue corner, the boxers produced an excellent display.
Many of them had just returned from Afghanistan where The Regiment has been involved in some of the fiercest fighting since the Second World War.
The boxing was followed by an auction of some rarely available lots, including a day with the 3rd Battalion The Parachute Regiment and boxing gloves signed by Lennox Lewis. The auction was just as keenly contested as the earlier bouts.
We are very grateful to all those who contributed to making this evening such a success.
